Blood along with contractions

I've been noticing light colored blood whenever i wipe. It is mostly pink/orange and has bits of red in it, started tonight and was followed by contractions that are currently being timed. Right now they are between 6-8 minutes apart. I have been having what i would describe as menstrual cramps all day w/ lots of pressure low in my pelvis. Getting worked up about everything but don't want to get my hopes too high!

    Would this be considered my bloody show, im certain i've already lost the mucus plug and it didn't contain any blood but now i am bleeding?

    I would say call your doctor whenever blood is involved! Better safe than sorry. Good luck!!

    Contractions are still happening, they haven't eased up all night and are still about 7 mins apart, sometimes 10-And every time i check there's pinkish blood inside but nothing is really coming out

    I want to take a bath to help with the discomfort, but how can i be sure my water isn't broken ?

    That's what happened to me before I left for the hospital. I wiped and saw blood, contractions were 7 minutes apart. I went to L&D and was told it wasn't active labor but they ended up keeping me.

    My water didn't break with either one of my pregnancies but this last time I felt when he broke my water. It felt so weird lol so you'll know when it breaks.

    A similar thing just happened to me this morning. They sent me home from the hospital as-well because I am only 3 cm dilated and they said the contractions were not intense enough for me to stay.

    I'm in the exact same boat! Light bleeding and light cramps. I have a doctors appointment this afternoon so I'll see then what they say. I had sexy time with hubby last night so I am hoping that it's the real deal!

    I started having contractions last night and this morning they were about 3-4 minutes apart. I went to l&d and they sent me home because I wasn't in pain and I'm only 3 cm. they said in definitely in early labor!! I've been bouncing on my ball, just ate a pineapple.. Is there anything else I should do to move early labor along...

    Take a hot shower or bath! That made things even more intense for me and they actually suggest it in the hospital in order to get things moving faster

    This is exactly how my labor started, too. The 'pink water' turned out to be ruptured membranes, not water breaking, but I had my son that day...glad it all worked out for you and congratulations!
