Bleeding

Hello ladies. I know we're not supposed to start threads for every little thing but I'm a FTM and really scared. Last night I had a little bit of bleeding and some intense pressure in my uterus. It wasn't heavy, in fact I only noticed it when I had a BM, it was pink. It never even made it down to my underwear. It has since stopped and my pregnancy test was darker today than any other test I've taken. My MIL is a nurse and she thinks it was just the placenta implanting into my uterus since I'm only 4 weeks today. I'm still scared because AF is supposed to start today and the only symptom I'm experiencing is cramping and backache. Has anyone ever had something like this and been fine?

Again I know it says not to post about bleeding or use this board as a dear diary but again I'm a FTM and really scared. Thanks ladies.

The best/most you can do is call your doctor and they may have you go in for betas. I had a m/c back in March and I can tell you from experience it's worse to have people tell you their positive experiences because you build yourself up to believe there's a good chance you are fine and if you aren't, it's a devastating blow. I highly advise you not to look to others experiences and take this to your doctor. I know pregnancy is filled with a ton of unknowns but at this point, the most you can do is take care of yourself and let nature do the rest. FX you have a good outcome!

Yes, best to take this to your doctor and have your hcg levels monitored. It could be nothing so for now just take a deep breath and relax. Spotting can be very normal in a healthy pregnancy.

Thank you both so much. I really appreciate your honesty and responses. I have my doctor's appointment on Tuesday and it's the earliest I can get in so I just need to relax until then. Again, thanks so much.

It's probably just that pooping irritated your cervix. It happened to me in my third pregnancy. It's not implantation as that happened before you got your positive test

Every time I sneeze real hard there will be one little spot of blood the next time I go pee. Happened this morning all ready. Last week I had pretty good amount of pink blood after an orgasm. I freaked out and was bawling like a baby, but then it stopped within an hour.

On the other hand, I have had several miscarriages, and they all started with just a few drops and then progressed into heaving bleeding within a few hours.

It's really hard to say because it could be something wrong or it could be completely normal. T&P.

As long as it's not red, I wouldn't stress too hard. I get pink discharge all the time! If it's bothering you, call your phone nurse. Research the difference between pink, Brown and red blood and what causes it. It will put your mind at ease! Good luck*

@CicchettiFamily thanks that actually eased my mind a lot. It was only red for a second the rest was just pink so I feel better. I think it was just a fluke but I'm so nervous.

Anytime! I'm on progesterone, so I get pink every few days. I freaked the first time too! Still not fun to see but there are lots of ways you can get pink discharge! Not to mention if you pooped and had a hemorrhoid that can also show red. I had that happen to me as well! I flipped! Lots of things can irritate you cervix. I still get light cramping and back aches. I just had a u/s Thursday and I'm 8 weeks. Healthy baby inside!

Yeah I haven't bled since last night the only thing giving me any kind of pause is my backache. Other than that everything is the same, only my morning sickness kicked in today and I feel horrible. I'll be OK once I see my doctor but I feel slightly better.
