First appointment

Sooo this is my first pregnancy..and I wanted to know how the first appointment goes.
What kind of question are they asking...what kind of test they're doing and all:)
I'm excited and I'm.nervous

    Practices vary but with my first it was ultrasound, weight, blood pressure, a pap since I was due, blood draw, and then she gave us an outline of what to expect at appointments for the pregnancy as well as answered any questions we had.

    With my first we went to a midwife who was associated with an Obgyn office- we went in for a "history" appointment first at 8 weeks. They asked about medical history, symptoms, scheduled my ultrasound for 10 weeks, and gave me information about upcoming appointments, safety throughout pregnancy (like what meds were safe etc) and nutrition tips. This pregnancy I switched practices to see a female dr. who was highly recommended - they made an appointment with me at 4.5 weeks to confirm pregnancy, had me do bloodwork to get hcg levels, they had a much shorter history questionnaire,basic physical and did an internal exam, and scheduled an ultrasound for 8 weeks. Both practices were eager to answer any questions we had.
