Rowan Leif was born this morning at 10 am during a scheduled c section. He was breech my entire pregnancy. We declined an ECV due to potential risks. We got a lot of greif from friends and family for scheduling a c section but it turned out to be a damn good thing we did.
My uterus is malformed and was basically half the size it should have been. My little man had no room to flip. I could tell he would try but never got anywhere. The Dr. Was showing everyone in the or my uterus, as it is rare. She said she was surprised i even made it full term and didn't go into preterm labor!
Either way Rowan is very healthy and happy. He slept all day like a champ, which means he has been extremely fussy tonight. But hopefully we can get him straightened out soon enough. Worth it!
