UPDATE***

Levels came back good. Yay! I have my first ultrasound in two weeks. ❤️❤️

Have any of you ladies had to re-take a blood test to see if your hcglevels were rising?

According to my calendar I am 6 weeks and 1 day. Last week when I found out I was pregnant I started feeling nauseous and some symptoms. Now, I don't feel anything, not even sore boobs. I remember from my last pregnancy I had many symptoms at 6 weeks. Haven't had cramping or spotting. Not going to worry about it. Just wanted feedback. Thanks!

  • At this point an ultrasound would be more conclusive than a blood test, and absent some reason to suspect a problem, there's no reason to have an ultrasound. It's normal for symptoms to come and go.

  • I'm having my levels monitored right now. But it's because I have a history of loss. If you don't have a history, it's normal for symptoms to wax and wane a bit. Like PP said sudden drop off of symptoms would more likely prompt an us however, without other danger signs like spotting you are probably fine. If it eases your mind though call and talk to the nurse, no harm in that. Best wishes!
  • I had to have my hcg levels monitored but that was because I had a Mc in may. I think the only time you need to worry like previous poster said is when you start cramping and bleeding. Like everyone else said symptoms come and go. But if no other warning signs just take it a day at a time. Some days I feel really nauseous and some days I feel energetic and great.
  • I had my hcg levels test during weeks 4/5. Was told to prepare for a loss. So disheartening as this is our first pregnancy. We are now 7 weeks along and saw a heartbeat! Don't lose hope. The hcg levels are different for everyone. I refused to believe we would lose the baby and kept talking to him/her saying to stay in there and be strong. So far it worked!!
