Nursery ? Is it too soon?

I'm sixteen weeks almost seventeen. My Mr Fix It Husband wants to start the nursery as soon as my next ultrasound, I will be 21 weeks at this point. Is this too soon? I don't want to jinx it

We started it after we found out the sex at 19 weeks. You can start as early as you want. We didn't do everything at once- it was a storage room so we had to clear it out first, then a couple weeks later we painted, week after that we set up the furniture, etc. We only just put the finishing touches on it last weekend and I'm now 39 weeks. I say if your husband wants to do it, put the man to work!

Definitely not too soon! I think you should do what the pp did and do it slowly - start with cleaning, then paint, then slowly adding furniture! I can't wait to start, I'll probably clean and paint right away after finding out gender!

You can't jinx anything, but any time before 3rd trimester is too soon for me. I've had 2nd trimester loss.

We just ripped out the carpet in the guestroom and installed hardwood. Crib goes in this weekend. I'll be 18weeks on Sunday. We didn't get my DD nursery done until a week before she came home. Since we have almost everything we already need, I want to get it done early. I don't want to feel rushed again and I love to decorate. Win/win.
