I was thinking of doing sweat pants, but I don't want to look like a slob coming home with baby. Lol not that it would really matter what I look like, I just don't like being seen looking like I just rolled out of bed. And I'm not the type that can pull off the sweat pants and not look like a lazy girl. Lol

Uhg me either! My sister can do the sweats, messy hair, no makeup thing and look super cute. I do that I look like I'm coming off a 3 day coke binge.
I'm going to go to Walmart and stock up on some cheap, loose black sweat pants that I can be comfy in and not worry about staining with blood. To each their own!
Something comfortable that will hide the diaper like underwear I will likely be wearing. Probably yoga pants and a tank top. I think I would be paranoid about something leaking down my leg if I were wearing a dress...
Sweat pants and a tank top. I don't care how I look coming home. I'm no Kate Middleton - just going for comfort. At most I'll do my makeup, but that's it.
C-section mama here... Last two times I wore very loose pants and a nursing top home. This time I packed a loose, flowy maxi dress. I am always more swollen after the surgery than when I go in to have the baby, so big and comfy is the key!

I laughed so hard at your reply I had to stop eating lunch.
Are you wearing your depends over or under the thong?

I thought I'd wear a dress but a few of my mommy friends say if I deliver vaginally, I'm def going to want to lose pants, big enough for mesh underwear and a pad and my mommy friends who had c sections say def a dress.. I may bring both just in case!
I will probably just wear yoga pants, a t shirt, and flip flops. Maybe I will bring a maxi skirt, but honestly, everyone will be looking at the baby, not me.
Do some of you have throngs of people greeting you as you depart the hospital?? I don't care at all what I look like or what I wear so long as my ginormo pads fit in there.
I've packed both a comfy, flowy maxi dress and maternity yoga pants and a tee....textbook Gemini here so it'll depend what mood I'm in heading home LOL..."I-wanna-look-put-together-Melissa" or "F*ck-that-shit-I-just-pushed-a-watermelon-out-of-a-Cheerio-Melissa" :-??
My wedding dress. I've always wanted a reason to wear it again... Probably just some yoga pants and a tank. Whatever ends up being thrown in my bag.
Good thing you worked out all the way through pregnancy so you can fit into that wedding gown!

❤️ I love that you embrace the Gemini mood swings.
I will probably come home in whatever I wear there if I didn't break water on the pants/PJs. If I did, I'll just steal husband's pajama pants.
Re: Coming home outfit for mom
Lot's of great ideas here

Or just a regular nursing top and maternity jeans, could go either way
