Sick Mommy and Baby

Mostly just venting, but my daughter and I keep passing the same cold back and forth! I was sick about a month ago after she was all goopy eyed, mostly got over it but kept having a cough. Then she got sick again a few days ago and is all snotty and coughing. Now I woke up with all the symptoms I had a month ago! Funny thing was that I only had one cold while I was pregnant, when your immune system is supposed to be less active and more colds should occur. I guess I'm making up for my relatively cold-free winter! Thankfully I'm not too concerned about either of us, but it is annoying!

    That sounds frustrating! Maybe you can try pumping if you're breastfeeding, or where a face mask?? I know it sounds funny but you've gotta stop the cycle somehow. Hope you both feel better soon!

    I was thinking about pumping. But it really is tough to avoid exposure to one another! Thankfully, my husband is a teacher, so he's home during the summer and can take on a lot of the burden. Thanks for the ideas.
