Praying for you

I'm more of a reader on here, but lately I've read a lot of sad/scary post coming from some strong mamas. All of these sweet angels and their mommy's are in my thoughts and prayers. Whether your a mom going through a high risk pregnancy, gestational diabetes, anxiety/depression, or you've loss your angel, or your angel is holding on for dear life, all of you are in my thoughts.

    This isn't pregnancy related, but please say a little prayer for my family.  My sister's dog is sick and not sure if she's gonna make it.  She's 12 yrs old, maltese/yorkie mix.  Took her to the vet yesterday because she was throwing up and not eating.  They gave her some fluids and antibiotics shot and said to watch her overnight.  She still isn't better so they did an xray and labs.  She still hasn't eaten anything and is breathing really heavy.  They don't know what's wrong with her.  They said she should take her dog to the vet hospital since it's Friday and they don't have all day care during the weekend, but the MINIMUM cost for a visit to the vet hospital is going to be $2,000!!!  Not sure what to do because we don't know if whatever she has is treatable or not.  :(  So sad and feel horrible for my sister.  The pregnancy hormones don't help either, crying all morning.

    I'm so sorry to hear that. Definitely will be praying. I have a tiny dog that I'd do anything for as well. Keep us posted please. *hugs*

    Thanks @1stComesLive421.  Her dog didn't make it. :( She ended up having a mass in her belly blocking her bile ducts.  They said she most likely had mets in the heart and/or lungs to cause her heavy breathing.  My sister wanted to wait until today to put her down so my dad could drive up there first, but she was getting worse pretty fast so they had to put her down last night. Such a sad day, but no more suffering for her dog.

    @aprosch: Sorry to hear about your sister's pup. Losing a pet is so very tough. It took my husband and I months to feel somewhat normal after we lost our boxer. It is still hard to think about him not being here, and he passed 2 1/2 years ago. I will be praying for comfort for all those who loved her!
