Is Halloween theme costume baby shower!

Call it lame but I think I may do a Halloween themed baby shower, twist things up and make some fun out of it. My kids are super excited...I am due the 21st of January ... Unfortunately I can't have natural child birth so they will prob take me a week or so early...around the 14th and I figured between thanksgiving Christmas and the new year people will be so busy... So Halloween it is. I'm super excited and it seems so close!!! My favorite time of year.. Some costumes are so funny I get a good laugh.. What do you all think?? To early or just right. Thought you all would get a kick out of these...

    This is a great idea! Makes it fun for everyone. I'm getting married Oct. 24th and then going to be gone on my honeymoon during Halloween but I really want to be Juno lol

    I think it would be fun especially if you were doing a shower with just girlfriends. I had a lot of older women at my shower (MIL had to invite everyone she knows) and there is no way they would have done it. Then again, people can choose to get in on the fun or not. I say do it!!!

    Yay! I just posted yesterday that I wanted a Halloween costume thread to get started!

    I have this idea that somehow I can rig something up with half a stuffed animal and some furry pajamas that I can be a mama kangaroo with a Joey in my "pouch"... Don't know how realistic that is though, I'll keep you all posted as we approach October

    We are doing an October shower as well. The end/beginning of the year is just too busy for people. If you get on pinterest there are so many cute ideas for Halloween themed showers.
