After losing my mp all day yesterday and thinking I might go into labor last night, I woke up to find myself still quite pregnant with not so much as even a twinge. Guess I'll face yet another day of disappointment....

Got the appointment reminder email for my next on appointment on Monday (40 weeks) and I have every confidence I'll see it, too.

I am so bummed out. I think I'm staying home from work this afternoon. I know they'll all think I'm having the baby if I'm not there but I just can't deal with people anymore.

38+3 today. I am so exhausted! Yesterday and today had to have naps...
trying to stay awake and do a bit of housework now but with back ache and a beach ball strapped to my front it's getting difficult.
2 more weeks of this seems a bit much!

Friday night is family night for our family. I have been hosting it on Fridays ever since my hubby's grandma past and we moved to a bigger house. Usually anywhere from 15-20 family members will be here. Lots of laughter, games, and coffee!!! It's so much fun!

Yesterday was my due date and official last day of work for leave! So as of yesterday afternoon I have been totally ready to find out if we have a son or daughter! I have been busy staying on my feet and walking around and started drinking pineapple juice. Hopefully this little one gets the clue that momma's ready and decides to make his/her appearance today!

38 +1 today. Had some pretty legit contractions/backache/cramping/pressure last night from about 10-1. But alas, baby is still on the inside. I finally got everything all ready for baby yesterday, including all our birth supplies (planning a home birth) & info for my MIL since she will be talking care of our almost 2 year old when I go into labor. I'm feeling ultra ready now. Just need a baby. Planning on vacuuming my house & taking a walk today in hopes of coaxing him out... good luck to all the other mommas still waiting!! Hope today is your (our) day

@babydoll1008 you are so active with your new born! Proud of you! My baby is 11 days old and the only place we've been is the doctor! But I has a CS so trying to take it slow and limit the number of times I take the stairs. Jealous of your petting zoo adventure!

I hear ya. I'm having problems dealing with people at the moment too. I wonder if it's part of 'turning inwards' in the lead up to birth.

definetely need it! Today is our daughters first early intervention appointment and I am looking forward to meeting our daughters new team that will help us out

other then that...nothing special but hoping to get some sleep!

38+4 today, found out yesterday at my appointment that LO is measuring about 8.8 pounds, he is head down but not engaged so I'm just gonna patiently wait for his arrival. Next week should be a light work week so that will be nice. I look forward to the weekend and some time to just relax. I dont think this kiddo is coming anytime soon, no contractions, not even 1 cm dilated so we're in it for the long haul, or until 41 weeks lol.

I have spent most of my morning on the pot or hooked up to the breast pump for nipple stimulation. I found out at my appointment yesterday that babe is at a -3 station... Which means he hasn't dropped at bit. Hoping to get some contractions going to coax him down a little lower. I have thought about jumping my neighbors fence and using their trampoline under the cloak of darkness. I figure since I will be 40 weeks on Monday a little help won't hurt.

40+2. My midwife said that she thinks I'll have the baby within the next few days, so DH's sergeant gave him the day off of work. My big accomplishment for the day, I've accomplished already -- a good night's sleep! Thank god!! Finally. I'm not sure how we'll spend the day, but I have energy. Hoping LO comes soon!

@Marinewife81 I know last night I was so symptomatic I could barely walk or stand! Braxton Hicks contractions were really strong and that horrible lightning crotch feeling! thought maybe it would materialize into something but nope it certainly didn't

Still no sign of our little one! DH's birthday is tomorrow so I'm thinking of making it a beach day. Enjoying our last few days of it being just two of us!

@corndogrobot, I guess I am this time around lol. With my first, recovery took forever so we were home a lot of the time. I'm totally taking advantage of how good I feel this time. Also, the perkiset (sp?) they prescribed is helping... Lol

We have a planned c-section tomorrow so today my kiddos and I went and did some last minute errands before LO comes. Have to be up by 3:30 am to get to the hospital so early night tonight, maybe take the kids for ice cream. I want to eat anything and everything since I know I can't eat after midnight and my appetite is never good after my sections.

Today is my last day of work for 9 weeks! Next Friday Avery will be here

Unless she decides to come early. I hope not though because I still have a ton of stuff to get ready this weekend and next week. It's tough having the energy after a nine hour day to get stuff done after work... Plus I'm a procrastinator big time

It was super exciting to see all the baby announcements today!

I finally told my manager that if I don't see any action this week, my last day will be Saturday, July 25. My EDD is July 28th. Since I'm now on a 42 week schedule (don't want to induce unless necessary and OB said she doesn't do anything unless past 41 weeks but won't let anyone go past 42 weeks). I calculated my sick and vacation leave in addition to SDI and CFRA and this will allow me to stay home until the last week of October!

In other news, I've been ravenous this past week. I feel like I'm eating so much. But since I've been slowly gaining the weight and within the goal range, I don't feel terrible since I'm so close now!
