I'd suggest you talk to Dr, I have found that a cold flannel on the head helps but sounds like this is more migraine like, so best to probably take something.
I was also getting headaches, so bad that my teeth ached. The doctor said I have high blood pressure. They put me on medication and my headaches have mostly disappeared. I would talk to her doctor.
I was having a bad migraine for days with the vomiting that comes with it.. After a visit to the ER... My OB prescribed Tylenol with codeine.. Try not to take them but when it lasts for days.. It's the only thing that has helped..
She might want to see a doctor if they're genuinely that bad. There could be an underlying reason for the headaches and it's better to get checked out than medicate the symptoms away and leave the problem unchecked.
I had to go in for a migraine that caused blury vision and nausea that lasted 5 days. My Ob/GYN prescribed bitalbutal or butalbital. I've had to take it a few more times, not happy about taking pills, but I get migraines after my progesterone shots and have a 2 year old I have to take care of.
