I am 29 weeks and measuring 31. My last appt a month ago my doctor said I was 2 weeks ahead too. Is this ok? Any complications later? She just said instead of having a 6lb baby it will be 7-8lb
At my 29 week appt. I was measuring 33...i had two ultrasounds to assess why my fundus is so large. I'm not diabetic but I have slightly higher amount of amniotic fluid. They tried to tell me baby is large but I'm not buying it, with my first they told me I am having a 9 lb baby and she was 6 lbs....I'm not diabetic and we are both doing fine...
I'm pretty sure I had a growth spurt around week 28. Dr. said I was measuring big and wanted to do an ultrasound soon. 2 weeks later I was only measuring about a week ahead. 2 weeks after that I was measuring right on time. Growth spurt!
With my DS I measured 2 weeks ahead the whole time ultrasounds and everything said that he would be 81/2 ish pounds. He was 6.5 lbs. I firmly believe that they really have no idea how big baby will be
I was measuring 35 weeks at my 32 week appointment. My son measured 2 weeks ahead the whole pregnancy. He was 7 lbs when he was born. They didn't seem terribly concerned.

I was just told I'm measuring 35 weeks and I'm 32 weeks too! However the ob I saw this week is concerned that I may be anemic in addition to the genetic anemia so I get an additional ultrasound Monday to make sure he's not measuring small!
I am 30 weeks and was told yesterday that I'm measuring at 38 weeks. Even early on the Dr said my uterus felt "big" but now I have to go for another sonogram because he thinks I may have too much amniotic fluid. It makes me nervous. He said if it's a fluid issue, the baby and I would have to be monitored more closely until I give birth. I just hope there are no problems! I don't have gestational diabetes or anything, either.
I measured 33 weeks (fundus) at my 31-week appointment, but doctor didn't seem concerned at all. I measured 29 weeks at my 29-week appointment, so I'm guessing baby just had a growth spurt. I wouldn't be surprised if I have a big baby since both DH and I were close to 9 lbs (although we were 1-2 weeks late).
I'm 31 weeks measuring 33. I've been measuring 2 weeks ahead since 20 weeks...I'm also 5'2 and have a short torso, so there's really nowhere for little one to stretch except out haha I'm preparing for a Sept 5 delivery as opposed to the Sept 19 date they gave me lol
I'm 31 weeks and last appointment little man was measuring 35. I don't have GD but I do have excess fluid. My high risk doctor just thinks my OB was wrong on my due date.
Re: 29 weeks measuring 31. Anyone else?
