Gestational Diabetes

I have to go back in two weeks for my second round of sugar tests. Has anyone ever had Gestational Diabetes? How do you deal with it? I watch what I eat and have cut back on how much I eat. I try and walk in the morning but living in NC there is no cooler times to walk.
