5 weeks and feeling pretty good. Is that normal?

I'm 5 weeks and 4 days and other than fatigue, I don't have any other symptoms.  I go for my first doctor's appointment on the 27th and the wait is agony.  Is anyone else not having any symptoms?

  • Don't want to say it but you definitely jinxed yourself.  With my first, right at 6 weeks, that's when it happened.  With every subsequent pregnancy it gets earlier and earlier.

  • I am 5 weeks and was feeling perfectly fine... until yesterday when the sight of cupcakes made me nauseous. Cupcakes! Needless to say, it can hit you at any point. Enjoy this time of feeling good while pregnant. Most likely, it won't last.
  • When it hits it hits fast and hard! I was fine at 5 weeks and the morning of 6 weeks I woke up feeling nauseous and it hasn't subsided since. Now I also have headaches and a list of other thing.

I didn't get sick with my first until 10 weeks and peaked at 17 weeks. Enjoy it while you can.

Wait do you mean your sickness peaked at 17 weeks or you peaked and were feeling your best at 17 weeks? I have sooo been looking forward to second tri for some relief from the nausea :(

I had almost no symptoms until 10ish weeks with my first. I currently have no symptoms now and I'm 5+2. Everyone is different.
  • I'm 7 weeks today. I was totally fine with no symptoms except fatigue. I freaked out and wanted to symptoms... and I started with being queasy and nauseous around 6 weeks and started vomiting and feeling nauseous all day 2 days ago! I'm sure it will all hit... or you might be a lucky and not have any of it!
  • No symptoms yet. Although it leaves me feeling slightly uneasy, I keep reminding myself didn't have symptoms last time and everything turned out great!

  • Yeah, aside from being able to fall asleep at the drop of a hat (and wake up in the middle of the night) I feel pretty good myself. I'm always the first person to get motion sickness so I consider my stomach sensitive and I was sure I'd be nauseous all over the place once I was pregnant.

But... I'm fine. For now at least!

  • I'm 5w1d and also feeling pretty good. I'm tired all day, but sometimes have trouble falling back asleep at night after waking up. No real nausea unless I get really hungry, but that's pretty easy to cure. :)

    Hoping it stays this way!
  • It's very common for symptoms to disappear around between the 5-6 week mark. Watch out! Once you
Hit 6 weeks the fun begins haha

  • No symptoms here either. I made it through my first pregnancy with no morning sickness...hoping this one is similar. :)
  • Not everyone gets sick. I never had any symptoms and was absolutely glowing throughout my first pregnancy. The only thing was bad heatburns so I was eatings Tums like candies.
I am 7 weeks today, no nausea, no sickness, no sore boobs, no aches! Just mood swings (poor dh!)
Just saying, I keep reading about ladies complaining and it's probably scary if you don't know what to expect! Don't expect anything! Go with the flow.
    Peace
  • I'm in my 6th week and still feeling pretty good. The only symptoms I'm experiencing are tender breasts and exhaustion/fatigue. Nausea has been very mild so far.

I mean my nausea peaked at 17 weeks. I threw up while driving. It was only one of three times I threw up during pregnancy but scarring enough to keep me from ever wanting chocolate cake again.
  • I had 0 symptoms with my first or second pregnancy. Have two healthy kids. I have no symptoms this time either. It does not mean anything. Consider yourself lucky!

  • Many women don't get sick at all. Count yourself lucky! The reassurance of morning sickness is not worth the vomit. =)

  • My first 2 pregnancies (this is #3) i never had morning sickness. Every once and a while a little nausea, but other than that little to no symptoms. One was a MC and one is now a toddler. Everyone experiences pregnancy differently!

  • I was a little worried that I might have had a UTI when I first went to the dr and found out that infact I was pregnant. Im 5 week and 1 day now but ironically I get very sick at night....like during my shifts at the bar. GO FIGURE!! I hope it gets better and not worse. No tenderness in my breasts but I'm very scared for that for some reason =/
  • I'm the same. I have very few symptoms and of course it makes me insanly nervous.

  • I've had very few, but I guess I should consider myself lucky because they're going to come later... Just some sore boobs, heartburn, very mild nausea, and tiredness here. I was complaining about no MS, but I better keep my mouth shut. lol
