Matcha drinker here too... I haven't drank it daily the last few weeks, but when I was, I specifically asked my Ob about it (as someone had questioned what I was doing due to some data on low folate absorbtion in green tea drinkers ) Doc said a cup a day was completely sensible, and to enjoy.
I drink one cup of coffee a day this time around - the first time I didn't drink any but I can't deal with the headaches + the nausea this time (when I have it, they come and go lol)
I have a cup of green tea every day. With my daughter I had a coffee every day but this pregnancy coffee literally smells like poop lol. My OB said the coffee was fine with my daughter so I'm assuming the green tea is no big deal
For the first 9 weeks I couldn't even stomach the thought of coffee, but had terrible caffeine withdrawal headaches. My doctor said up to 200mg/day is safe so now that the nausea has subsided (for now), I definitely have a cup/day. After doing a bunch of research of my own, I'm not too stringent on any of the pregnancy "no-nos" (deli meat, sushi, etc., etc.), but this is one I definitely do not feel guilty about in the least! I need my coffee!
