1. LO has woken up in the middle of the night both starving hungry and about to soak through their diaper. Do you first a) feed them and hope they don't leak, or b) change them, and risk them waking up the whole household.
2. It's morning time and LO has finally gone to sleep after a particularly rough night. You're exhausted, starving and covered in baby spit up. Which do you do first - food, sleep or shower?
3. You accidentally fart loudly in front of your in laws. Do you let the baby take the blame?
Re: Just for fun - New parent dilemmas
2. Sleeeeeep! Food? Shower? What are those things?
3. Absolutely. My fiancé would call me out though... He knows my farts.
2. Sleep. I love sleep and I've learned to basically not eat or shower. LMAO
3. I'd take the blame. They have much more annoying habits that I put up with so they can deal with that!
2. Last night was actually a horrible night! The girls got on opposite schedules for some reason, so we were almost constantly up with one of them. After only 3 hours of sleep total, I finally got them both back down. I took 5 minutes to grab a bowl of cereal. Then I went back to bed. The girls have been fussy today too, so I have yet to get in my shower. I'm no good to anyone if I don't get my sleep!
3. We have nothing to do with my in-laws. But if I farted in front of someone and I could pass it off on babies, I would. If it was obviously me, I'd own up to it!
2. Sleep, easy choice.
3. It doesn't really matter, my ILs would pretend like nothing happened because bodily functions are too embarrassing to talk about.
2. Food first, but something very quick - maybe a bowl of cereal or a yoghurt. I'll sleep better if I'm not hungry. A shower can wait.
3. Yes, I will totally let the baby take the blame. He farts enough as it is, what's the harm in him taking the blame for one more.
2. Sleep for sure! I don't even remember what food and showers are......
3. Eh DH would call me out instantly so I wouldn't have a chance to blame LO hahah
2. Sleep. No question.
3. Baby can totally take the blame. I never had uncontrollable farts before him so it really is his fault.
2) I will actually snack a cookie or pop tarts (healthy, I know) at 3am while he is on the boob. So, if he is finally asleep - I'm sleeping. I've probably already snacked (if its been a rough night he's been crying all night, so what matter if I take two minutes to grab a snack to munch while trying to get him to stop crying?) but even if I haven't and I'm starving, its still sleep
3) I'll own it. No big. I will still blame (post) pregnancy hormones, tho
2) Sleep.
3) I would probably just not say anything at all unless someone called me out on it and then I'd just own up to it
2. Sleep!!!
3. Most likely no one would acknowledge it but I'd have no problem LO taking the blame if I could get away with it.
2. Eat in the shower while DH makes coffee.
3. Yes always.
Sleep.
Apologize and move on.
Sleeeeeeeeep!!!
Blame it on baby girl
2. I can get hangry too so sometimes good must come first. Otherwise, sleep for sure!
3, Blame it on the baby
2. Am I the only one who must have food and showers?..... Sleep is sleep it's nice but I'm so used to not getting any!
3. I'll own it
2-sleep. The answer is always sleep.
3- definitely own it...my in laws would laugh.
2) @klkonwi I'm with you! I'd eat first. Then take a shower, and finally, I'd pray I had time for a nap!
3) I'd blame it on my son, for sure!
2. Food first... Still working on that supply. I admit I'm not showering much lately
3. Laugh, no need to pass blame
Sleep.
Laugh
2. Eat.
3. Blame the LO.
2.) Sleep. Shower. Then eat.
3.) who wouldn't blame the LO?
