Concerned about today's Drs appt

I went to the doctors today for a six weeks sonogram and they saw just gestational sac and a yolk sack no heartbeat no baby no pole, nothing they're having me come back in two weeks... do you think I should be concerned at all

    What was the sac measuring?

    At 6 weeks it's quite possible that nothing is visible.  That's why doctors typically wait until at least 7 weeks to do an ultrasound.

    I have no experience here but it seems ok for so early on-- also possible your due date is a little off and you haven't hit 6 weeks yet

    Are you six weeks from your lmp? I was suppose to be 8 weeks as if my lmp on my first appointment. And the dating u/s showing me at barely 5 weeks and I saw less than yours. I went back the following week and measured 6.5 weeks with a HB. I just happened to have ovulated about 3 weeks late.

    I had the exact same thing happen yesterday. I thought I was at least 6w3d and only had  a gestational and yolk sac. I have been really upset and mostly scared. The dr thinks I am most likely just not as far along as I thought. I had blood drawn and will go have it drawn again Monday to test my HCG levels and then another US on Tuesday. I hope everything is ok for both of us mbarbano82
