Mucus spotting

in July 2015 Moms
for the past three days I've been finding large globs of mucus on my pads or toilet paper. Their about the size of a quarter and are very thick. At first I thought mucus plug but idk now. I'm 40 weeks and 4 days. I'm a tad confused

    I am just an FTM so what do I know… LOL, but sounds like it to me. I have read and been told that some women lose it in pieces rather than all at once

    You can lose it in bits like that, all at once, or sometimes not until you deliver!

    I've had three complete strangers ask me about my mucous plug this week and I'm like whoa... That's a pretty nasty thing to ask a complete stranger about IMO

    I lost a big chunk over the weekend, and now today I've been losing little bits and having some random contractions. How much longer must I endure this torture?! Last time I lost a big bloody chunk all at once and went into labor that night!
