ER for first IVF tomorrow

Well, I got the call yesterday to take the trigger shot last night and our ER will be on Saturday morning. Trigger shot went very well and I didn't feel a thing. Today, now that's another story. The area where my DH gave me the trigger shot is very sore today, kind of like a bad bruise. I just keep thinking the pain from the week long shots and now the trigger shot will all be worth it in the end when we get that BFP. As you can tell I am trying to stay very optimistic through all of this!

I am nervous about tomorrow, due to only have 6 follicles that are decent sizes and of those 6, 3 are at the size of being mature. I know I keep telling myself it only takes 1 to get pregnant, but it's so hard to keep the bad thoughts from entering your mind.

My ER is tomorrow at 10:15cst, but we have to be there at 9:45am. It's going to be very hard not being able to eat or drink anything in the morning, but I'm sure I will be nervous that it may not bother me as much as I think it will. Glad I don't have the 1:00pm appointment. (Yikes)

Well, just wanted to share my thoughts of where I'm at with the whole process. I hope everyone has a great weekend and FX for all those have procedures or tests done!

Thanks for wishing me the best! I felt pretty crappy since no one has given me any comments. Today didn't go like we had hoped. We only got one good egg, so now it's a waiting game to see if it fertilized. FX. Pretty down in the dumps about all of this and I know it only takes one but was hoping for more. :_(

Good luck tomorrow it's great that you're trying to be optimistic i know the wait can be hard sometimes. 1 follie sounds very promising to Me and like you said your self it only takes one FX

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for that one egg to fertilize and grow! Like you said it only takes one. We didn't have any make it to freeze our first time out and now we are starting over again this month so I totally understand how you are feeling right now. Drink plenty of water this week, the bloating will drive you crazy but it will subside soon enough.

Just got a call from our doc. The lonely egg fertilized and he wants to get it back inside of me ASAP, so we go in tomorrow for the transfer.

I also had one egg fertilize and they transferred it on day 2. Still in the 2ww. Fingers crossed for you. It does only take one (easy for me to say to you - hard to believe it when you're on the receiving end.) Stay hydrated and good luck!!
