I'm a FTM. I'm trying to be prepared for the unpreparable obviously. I just wonder from all the mom's that are already mom's . What books they read that were actually helpful or top 10 things you feel a FTM may need to know.outside of books.
We've had several threads for book recommendations in the past couple months on our board, and you can find them if you search using the term "pregnancy book" in the search box. People have rec'd a lot of great books in those threads, so I'd definitely take a look at those.
-The Birth Partner: A Complete Guide to Childbirth for Dads, Doulas (my husband read this one) -The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth (My husband and I read this one. This is really good also if you end up having to go to the hospital and want to still make decisions)
-Hearts and Hands (This is a Midwive's Guide that my mom and I read. This was a pretty in-depth one, I just liked it because I was a bio major (: -Ina May's Guide to Childbirth (This one feels a little "hippy" (or "granola", I guess), but the birth stories helped me be less nervous about a home birth)
