Mucus plug? 40 weeks 6 days

woke up to me made it almost back to bed and felt a warm gush.. Thought I peed a little and felt another warm gush. Definitely not water doesn't seem like enough. But it's gotta be the mucus plug. Ahhhh.. Is labor going to begin now?!!!! I'm so nervous/excited.... Feeling like I should shower and get ready but it's not 4 am yet...eeeee!!!!

    I don't know if it was a gush it could be your waters. It doesn't have to be a huge amount it could have been a hind water leak or whatever its called...where babies head acts like a plug after the initial gush. I'm a FTW so my experience is limited to what I've heard and read...but I'm pretty sure your mucus plug doesn't gush.
