Having a tough time breathing

hello ladies!

any veteran moms out there that can help? I'm having a hard time breathing today. I got adjusted which usually helps but it did not. My next option is typically my inhaler or using breathe essential oils on my chest. I am sure neither of these are great when pregnant but not breathing isn't good either!

anyone have any suggestions?

Is this a normal pregnancy thing?

Feeling a little out of breath can be normal during pregnancy (ex. Walking up a flight of stairs), however if you are short of breath to the point of having trouble breathing I would contact your doctor right away.

It's normal for me. This is #2 and I had issues in the 1st tri with my asthma. Hormones. I'm having problems now too. I stay on my daily inhaler & use emergency when needed. Check with your doc to see if you can do the same. 3rd tri will be interesting too but that's more about spac.

Thanks ladies. It's better this morning but still tough. I'll call when I have a quiet minute!
  • My OB told me to use my inhaler if I was having trouble breathing. The drugs in it are not as harmful as a lack of oxygen.

As for essential oils, one of my doctors recommends against them because they have not been studied thoroughly enough.
  • I had a tough time last pregnancy. My Dr. Was unconcerned. It went away after birth. Hasn't started yet this time. Not looking forward to it.

Well yesterday was better, a few periods of shortness of breath but better than the night before. I have a feeling I'll struggle with this the entire pregnancy :/ it's on my list of things to talk to with my dr in two weeks
  • I'm sure the ladies up top aren't helping any, especially if you're already "gifted" in that department
