Maternity pants

So when I got home from work there was a gift bag waiting for me behind the screen door. My MIL bought me some maternity pants and a cute top..... Can I just say there's a chance I will never go back to normal clothes???? :D

    I'm getting some this weekend. 13w 3d aND it's tine. None of my pants fit anymore.
    1st child DOB 9/3/02

    SO and I met 6/25/06

    Married 9/2/12

    They're amazing huh? Lol with this being my second I am showing early and got into them a couple weeks ago and was so excited after I felt the difference lol off to buy another pair this weekend :)

    I freakin' LOVE my new maternity clothes. So comfy. I could see even wearing some of these after baby. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to buy them. There are some really cute outfits.

    Ugh I hate maternity pants!! The super high (above the bump) waist drives me nuts!! I think they are itchy and I feel like I'm a 4yr old in tights when I wear them.
    That being said, I love maternity tops, and I think maternity clothes are really cute.

    I just busted out a Bella band that was given to me... Soooo so amazing and comfortable! Never buttoning pants again!

    Gave in a week ago. It was magic. The bella band worked for a time but I was getting uncomfortable. This way I can keep growing and still be comfortable!

    I think I got fake Bella bands (the ones from target?) because mine ride / roll up when worn with my work pants. Oh well! Can't wait to get more maternity pants now that I know how comfy they are. :D

    I've busted out the belly band, leggings, and maternity tops. Maternity pants don't cut it for me, I'll be living in leggings and long tops this winter.

    Do all maternity pants have the elastic band on the top? I honestly have no clue. I am curious about buying myself black maternity pants for work instead of asking my boss for bigger and bigger sizes.. but I'm worried about having to tuck in my shirt when it has a band. It'd look a little silly. I need something.

    They have different kinds. Full panel is the one that goes all the way over the bump. But i've seen ones that basically are super low rise. I suggest checking out the options online just so you know whats out there.

    The 'below the belly' style is my favorite. But I've found styles that I like that only come in the full panel and for now (12 weeks) I'm just folding the full panel over like I would with my maxi skirts. I'm loving it. I just don't understand why normal clothes aren't like the low panel maternity clothes. I mean we could go up and down a little in weight and not have to buy new clothes! And they're comfy! I just don't get it.
