Bright red spotting after BM

i have IBS so it's always hard for me to distinguish menstrual cramping and intestinal cramping. I had a small cup of coffee and had to go to the bathroom. When I wiped there was bright reddish blood. I'm so scared of miscarriage because the pregnancy is so early - could it be from straining while pooping or just normal bleeding?

    Either way, you should call the doctor. I have IBS, there's no reason you should have more than a couple drops of blood on the tissue.

    Check your bum. Could be a hemorrhoids. I went potty and wiped and got red blood. Thankfully it was only a hemorrhoid!

    TMI, I know, but... did it hurt when it came out? You may have torn yourself a little while pooping. Since that's blood from a scrape, basically, it would be bright red, but it shouldn't be very much and it should stop pretty much immediately.

    I would check again in an hour or so. If the paper is clear, you probably just tore a little. Never hurts to see a doctor, though!
