Seafood Ideas?

I know I'm supposed to have some sort of fish. But I can not stand seafood. Never have been able to. Honestly, the only fish I can eat is tuna, some shrimp, and fish sticks. (That probably doesn't even qualify). Any ideas on how to maybe sneak it in to my food?

  • If you really dislike it, don't eat it. Look for a prenatal vitamin with DHA in it instead. Fish and seafood aren't for everyone and you can't really disguise the taste or texture of the fish that you want to be eating. Cod is pretty easy to hide in other foods, but it's also not really very beneficial in terms of health, so there's no point forcing yourself to eat it.

  • I guess that makes sense. I take my regular prenatal everyday. I could probably get a vitamin or talk to my doc about one I should take to take care of this. Thanks!(:
  • I take a separate dha vitamin because my prenatal doesn't include it, and it's made with orange oil so it doesn't have the fishy taste to it others do.

  • You can cook shrimp several ways---mix it in with pasta, shrimp scampi, fried rice etc. What about crab cakes? I cheat and buy the private selection brand at Krogers sometimes. Or you can make them and they are super easy too. Salmon is an easy fish too if you were willing to try something new.
