I have been trying to sleep on my side. I have pillows everywhere. I start out there but halfway through the night I somehow flip to my back. I guess my body is waking me up at a certain point. I roll back to my side but by that point I'm short of breath and my heart is pounding like crazy. Then I flip out because I'm thinking I hurt something. Not fun. On top of being up every 2 hours to pee.
Anyone else have this issue? And is there a way that you have found to prevent from flipping to your back? Tia

This happened a lot to me during pregnancy with DD. I used the Snoogle and could get comfortable enough that I would not roll to my back. Maybe try some extra pillows?
This time I am simply too big and awkward to roll without completely waking up and taking the roll over in a painful 4 step process. Ugh.

Weird, I felt like that this morning, I'm still 10wks- But I woke up on my back and my heart started pounding... Honestly I wasn't expecting to have to worry about how I am sleeping unless 6 or 7 months pregnant... Ugh

I've been using the snoogle also. Even if I turn some, the long part of the pillow is behind me and I won't go completely on my back. At 12 weeks I don't have the shortness of breath, but back sleeping is not comfortable for me- typically I'm a stomach sleeper.
I hate having to sleep on my side. I wish I could sleep on my back. I find that a regular pillow between my legs which sticks out behind my legs acts kinda like a bike stand and forces me to stay on my side.
