Anyone took the Mirena IUD

in May 2015 Moms
just wondering if anyone has the Mirena IUD. And how long did you have bleeding for. I got it during my 6 week check up, which I was still lightly bleeding from labor. And now I starting bleeding a little with the IUD. Just wondering how long you bleed for.

    I got the IUD; so far I'm loving it. I bled probably a week after. I still have some spotting here and there. The blood is almost brown so I'm thinking it was part of my first period. Although I still have some mild cramps here and there as well.

    Mine was inserted at my 6 week pp check up and the bleeding stopped a week and half after.

    I got the iud mirena a week ago and I'm bleeding the bleeding is red but it isn't a lot are other moms going thru the same?

    I had mirena before I had a baby and the bleeding only lasted a week or two then never came again, the spotting was on and off for a few weeks, but no more until I had it taken out, but the cramps would always come back! My gyno said it might change since I've gone through a pregnancy/birth. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm just nervous to have it put back in, because looking back, they were almost as bad as contractions!

    I just got mine s few days ago. I only bled for a day. I kinda thought that was odd. My friend bled for weeks. Weird tmi question. Can anyone else not feel the strings? My dr said I would be able to feel them if I " checked" myself but I can't feel it. It makes me nervous lol

    I got mine at 6 weeks and am now 8 weeks pp and still bleeding bright red blood

    I caNot feel my strings either. Idk y. Had an ultrasound and everything was in the right spot. So idk

    Did anyone else's hurt going in?? My OB grabbed my cervix with forceps twice & let it hang outside of me while she opened the mirena. Then she had to use silver nitrate to stop the bleeding from her grabbing me with the forceps. Owww! I'm in SO much pain!
