I've had many people warm me that pregnancy can bring about weird dreams, but I've been having night terrors for 2 weeks now. Anyone else having some horrid dreams? Some are so vivid that I wake up crying and screaming. The baby doesn't survive in any of them.. I'm pretty nervous for my next ultrasound, someone tell me I'm not alone?

I haven't had any truly scary dreams, but I have had some pretty vivid weird ones.

Oh yes, lots of vivid dreams but thankfully none like the ones you're having. FX for a healthy and great ultrasound for you!

I have either sex dreams or scary... Nothing between those. Mostly scary dreams even during middle of the day naps

I keep having horrible dreams most nights too, they are often really upsetting, I console myself with the fact they're not real when I wake up - phew! But yes very strange and not pleasant!

I've been having a lot of nightmares too. Some are about the baby.. I had a dream where I left the baby in my car on a hot day and couldn't remember where I parked. I've also had random ones including a really terrifying dream about the Small World ride at Disneyland. I think it's normal, but really annoying!

No nightmares here, but really weird stuff. Like kissing my 2 brother in laws (ewww). And diamonds kept falling out of my wedding band in one, but I could always find them and I just stored them in a ziplock bag. I dreamed that I was in the show "The Last Ship" and couldn't get out. Crazy stuff!

I keep having dreams about break ins...they didn't start out that bad but the one last night woke me up when I was about to get shot

This is how mine started out as well. It's very unnerving. My husband and I are going to find out what is safe to take with baby so that I can get some rest! Our nurse line says to keep a dream journal so you can track it if they get worse or continue, maybe it'll help!

I feel like my entire sleep is filled with vivid dreams, mostly really stressful. Thankfully none like that about the baby, though I've had many many maddening night terrors about losing DH. I think I've had at least one major stress dream every single night for weeks now, and the rest are just random and story-like. They're worse than my typical stress dreams because they go on and on like a full-length film I'm stuck in. I remember tons of detail and the continuity of the whole thing sticks for hours after I wake up, as real as if I just got home after a long day. It really really sucks. Not my favorite part of pregnancy.

I wish I could just have long happy dreams! But at least I get to enjoy a renewed gratitude for my life when I wake up each morning because my waking life is never anywhere near as stressful as my dream life.

Same here. Had a dream last night that I bit off my BF's fingertip and then had to vomit it back up so they could surgically reattach it, after which I had to have an emergency C-section

Weirdly enough, about two days before we found out we were having twins, I had a dream that I had to have an orgy with a bunch of people I know for real, all of whom have fraternal twins IRL--brain didn't make the connection there for at least a week, but it was really gross and disturbing.

I keep dreaming I miscarry which is horrible but I'm assuming since I miscarried last year it's my subconscience bringing my fear to the forefront. My first appt isn't until the 24th that day can't get here fast enough.
