I'm so sorry to hear that!

Being an ftm i'd take her to the hospital, i know that there isn't much they can give an infant but just to put my mind at ease + they might tell you it's ok to giver her adol just so she'd be comfortable enough to sleep a bit,

i hope she feels better soon

  • Do you have a nosefrida? That thing saved my life with my 1st child.

Other than that let LO sleep on an incline, saline and humidifier. Hope it passes quickly!

  • I second the nosefrida! Love it. My LO has been snotty lately so before bed and in the morning I use Little Remedies saline spray and then suck out the gunk with the nosefrida. I usually do 3 cycles of spray and then suck. It was amazing the first time I used it - who knew the amount of snot you can get out of such a little nose! I notice him sleeping longer at night and he's feeding better in the morning after our booger routine.
  • The thought of the nosefrida makes me gag... is it not as gross as it seems or do you guys just have strong stomachs?
  • We used just a regular "snot sucker" we call them! The nose Frida grosses me out too much! And used a cool mist humidifier! Not much else you can use for LO! It's so sad to see them sick!!
  • Lol. It's not as gross as it seems. I was pretty disgusted when I received it as a gift. But after days of him not sleeping or eating well (I could see and hear the boogers) I caved. Now in some weird mama way I kind of enjoy sucking his snot out.

My husband, on the other hand, is still afraid of the thing.
