I have it too and a search of previous discussions says it's a normal pregnancy symptom. I'm assuming it's because your heart is pumping so much more blood that it's just trying to keep up.
I have this happen to me as well. In general my heart rate accelerates more quickly now. Occasionally it will do a really fast, almost arhythmic type of thing... I think it's probably normal.

This exactly. Before pregnancy I was very active and had a resting heart rate of around 50bpm but lately it's been sitting around 80 while I'm relaxing and when I'm moving around it gets even quicker. Totally normal with your increased blood volume, but if it gets so fast that it starts making you dizzy than you may be having anxiety or another issue that needs addressing. Even though we're telling you its normal, I still advise you to make your doctor or midwife aware, just because while it can be normal, it can also end up being something completely unrelated to pregnancy and it's worth mentioning.
