Is it just me? Ftm

So I was feeling really crampy on & off yesterday all day along with pressure and then today I've been having mild cramps like if I'm starting my period, more pressure, it also feels like there's something down there (kind of like a bubble) and I just feel over all crappy. I'm 39 weeks tmw & a ftm. Is this normal & is it signs of labor coming on or what?

I'm in the same boat only i'm 38w5d. I keep checking the clock every time I feel pressure. for me it is not constant enough...so i'm thinking BraxtonHicks

Feeling like I had menstrual cramps was the start for me with my first! Baby could be on its way soon.

@mariastratt I really hope so! I haven't had my cervix checked so I have no idea what's going on down there. But I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up too much cause you never know....

I've been feeling cramps on and off too... my doctor says it's normal and it's our bodies preparing for labor. Eventually, when baby is ready, they'll turn into contractions. We're in the home stretch though! They've gotta come out eventually. I'm dilated and had my membranes swept last week, so he's obviously just not ready yet.

I have my appt Thursday so hopefully they check where I'm at if he's not here by then

I've had this too, mainly only at night. It doesn't really come and go though it's more of a constant.
