Running tally so far this round of IVF? $22k. 10k in meds. MEDS. I'm a low responder, so I require a lot of meds. But that's almost double the first time.
Looks like I won't be turning down that new client lead. Good grief.

Re: Who doesn't love being broke? Not anybody doing IVF, that's for sure.
I can sympathize with you because my insurance doesn't cover fertility treatments at all. It doesn't feel fair. Buuuut if I don't want to have babies all the BC is covered. Ugh.

Married for 7 years, TTC for 4 years
dx: Diminished Ovarian Reserve
2 Clomid IUI's + 4 injectable IUI's= 5 BFNs and 1 mc
7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)
