Hello, I am fairly new to this forum. I am going in next week to start mY first IVF. I am so nervous, I have been googling things and the Dr who will be doing my procedure. I have found some bad things about him and some OK things and this is what has me going crazy. However , my dr has recommended to this facility. Has anyone ever went to CNY if so what was your experience?

    I was a patient of cny. There are pros and cons about the doctor but you honestly don't see him too much in the process. The nurses are wonderful there. Basically my best advice is to ask as many questions as you have since there just always seems to me something they don't mention to tell you and advocate for yourself. If you're not happy with something tell them and make it known. At that place the sneaky wheels get the grease. I and many of my coworkers have had success there the main thing is to keep hope. Don't expect everything to be perfect the first time (or any time for that matter) and allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised. I just delivered my twins Sunday (a bit premature at 33 weeks) and my coworker is due in December after many failed iuis and one failed IVF after having 4 natural miscarriages. Keep the faith and trust the process and if you need to vent about certain things at that practice there are many who can sympathize.

    I agree you need to be an advocate for yourself. Ask lots of questions and I always messaged the dr after my appointment to make sure he agreed with the plan of action. I had 2 ivf there and I have my miracle baby who will be 9 months this month.

    ER 3/12 8R 4 able to be injected 2f with ICSI ET 3/15 2 "perfect" textbook Embryos
    2 crinone, estrace, dexamethesone, doxycycline

    April 18 ultrasound Baby A HB 147   Baby B HB 146  Both measuring 7w1d
