Bulging tender vein in arm

I'm currently at 39+2, and I've had a small bulging spot in my vein on my arm, between the inside of the elbow and the wrist, since 37+2. It's slightly tender to the touch, but there's been no change since I discovered it, and no swelling/fever/redness. I've showed this to the midwives I saw at my last two appointments, and neither are concerned about it. They chalked it up to a bruise. Anyone else get anything like this before? I'm not necessarily concerned about it being a blood clot, but it's a little concerning that it's not going away. I'm so conscious of sleeping on or using this arm, and the tenderness wigs me out!

    Wow I would be concerned as well... But I have no advice. May just be high blood volume? You could go to the ER if it would make you feel better.
