And I'm at home. I need more pregnant friends. This is aggravating. You get forgot about so easy. I guess it's okay though seems how everyone is driving me crazy and I'm ready to snap at any minute. I should probably be home in that case.
Ugh. I hate to say it gets worse with a kid. For awhile you don't want to be away from them, but the assumption that you don't want to leave them lasts longer than your actual desire to be at home all the time. There are several friends I haven't seen more than once or twice since having DS. It's depressing but you get used to it and you make mom friends instead. It sucks, though.
I'm definitely feeling left out these days. Me and my hubby normally do so much socially. All of the sudden poof- there goes my friends. I'm kinda feeling angry about it right now. I'm also trying to convince myself to try and enjoy my solo time bc we're usually so busy. This is my 3rd and having 2 kids didn't really slow us down too much but right now I'm feeling pretty lonely these days:(
@HBirdie I already have two kids and it's never been a problem. Hell they have kids too! I guess when your pregnant you can't have fun. Lol but it's okay it's just me being a grouch. I don't care to go out right now anyways id rather sleep. It's things like this in life that make you realize who your true friends are.
I have too many "me days" with DH working weekends. It does get lonely. You get used to it though. But yes, it's great to have something to watch - I love me some Netlfix and Amazon Prime Instant Video. Or just a good old book. Those are great too.
I guess Im the odd one, I would rather stay home. I am a home body. I work all week, Monday through Friday and by the time its friday at 5 all I want to do is grab take out (So I don't have to cook) and relax on the couch watching a movie with the kids (And I dont even care if its Wreck it Ralph for the 1k time)

We're homebodies too. Our "date nights" are sitting in front of the tv and catching up on the DVR.
