Weight watchers

Anyone doing weight watchers now and finding its harder to keep up with then before baby? I have lost 5 pounds since joining again last month but I feel like from week to week I'm up and down in my weight... Baby is EBF so I get more points because of that.

Re: Weight watchers

  • I am doing it but didn't prior to baby. I am not BF and have been down each week I've been following it (3 weeks) but it is very small amounts. I think our hormones are still leveling out.

  • I am doing it as well- I have been doing it since the 6 week mark. I have done pretty well so far- the EBF helps. I'm down 5 lbs in 3 weeks. I didn't do it before so I can't compare.
  • I do another slimming programme and get more "points" because I'm BFing and completely agree - I lost 1lb in my first week and have been up and down ever since :(
  • Yeah and it's also hard to eat right(more so than before I got pregnant) because most of he time I'm so tired I'll just eat whatever is easiest!
  • I just signed up today. I'll let you know
  • Signing up this week too. I'm 6 weeks today. It's time! I've done it before kids... And after my first. The weight will never come off as quickly as it did prebabies- at least not for me. It is definitely a lot more work. Looking forward to hitting the gym again.
  • What I found was really helpful is that there are a lot of people with Instagram accounts specifically devoted to their weight watchers journey. Many post motivation, recipe ideas, ect. That has really helped me and kept me motivated to make healthy choices.
  • I've been doing it for the past two weeks and pretty much blow through my points and beyond daily. But for now I'm getting used to tracking and will start to make changes soon. Wish me luck!!
  • I'm an end of April mom, but often lurk your board too. I've been doing WW for about 6 weeks now, and I'm down about 12 pounds. I have about 13 more to go. This is the second pregnancy I've done WW after. With my last child I lost all 50 lbs by 13 weeks post partum. It's definitely taking longer this time, but I also just incorporated exercise recently. I also gave myself a cheat week (vacation) & cheated the weekend of the 4th. Oh well, any progress is good! Slow & steady wins the race too. I actually struggle big time when I quit nursing even in the maintenance phase. I love the extra points for nursing.
