Petite ladies and using wrap (Boba, etc.)

I have an Ergo but hear they are pretty warm for the summer. Was considering the Boba wrap but I'm rather petite (5'2, 105 prepregnancy - now 135). Concerned how huge the thing will be on me. Anyone on the smaller size use a wrap? Guessing it would be for the first 2/3 months. Thanks!

  • We got a tie wrap. So it adjusts to my husband and I. I'm 4 9 and my husband is 6. we like it :)

  • I have the Boba. You can totally adjust it to your size and the ends would just hang a little lower. For my little peanut, I like it so far.
  • I had boba with first and will be using it again this time. I'm a tiny 5"0. There will be more fabric hanging and some moms I know cut it to their liking and then washed to prevent frayed edges.
  • I have a Boba wrap, and I just started wearing him yesterday. I am 5 ft, probably 120ish right now, and he is approaching 6 lbs. I think it works great. We went for a walk around the neighborhood this morning with it. The one thing about it, that I have to figure out/adjust, is his head. He is resting against my chest (and was asleep the entire time), but his head felt a little wobbly. I braced it with my hand while we walked. I assume that will get better with weight and muscle development.
  • I have a baby k'tan and so far love it. I have the opposite problem, I'm 5' 11" and worried it would be too small, as they are sized for the adult wearer. A medium fits me snuggly and my 7.5 lb baby feels secure. I was considering a Boba, but wasn't sure I trusted my wrapping skills enough!
