Anyone have problems with RLS?

I'm 9 weeks and I'm having horrid RLS. I read it typically doesn't start until 7-8 months. But. I know every pregnancy is different. I didn't have RLS with my son. It's driving me insane! Anyone have any remedies or suggestions on how I can relieve this?

Re: Anyone have problems with RLS?

  • YES! me!  I have no idea about any remedies, but I wake up every night like clockwork with it.  I hate it.

Yes!! Restless legs right? My feet literally go numb all the time and tingle. And it wakes me up at night, and can't fall back asleep!

I tried to look it up, only found some stuff about how we are increasing our blood supply and the blood is going to the baby first, so I guess our feet circulation gets last pick.
  • Pregnancy body pillows might help.
  • Ugh me! I usually only have it during pregnancy but it stuck with me after the youngest was born... It comes and goes but has been pretty consistent. No remedies. Seems moving to a recliner sometimes helps. Meh.

  • I had it starting around 7 mo with the last one and occasionally so far with this one. It's miserable but thankfully for me it stopped after I gave birth
  • Oh only thing that helped me temporarily was having my husband rub my legs
  • I have it!!! I'm only 9w4d and one night it was so bad, I couldn't fall asleep until 4am!!! It was awful!! I've been using icy-hot which works surprisingly well and my doctor told me to try a regular pain killer along with some iron supplements. She also said a heating pad or warm bath helps.
  • I have found that my fiancé rubbing my legs have helped but once he stops it comes right back. It such a nucance!
