Positive FRER, Negative Doctor's Urine Test?

Hi!

Wondering if any of you have experienced this?  More details:

Last period was 5/21.  Took first positive home test on 7/3.  Took another 7/5 - positive.  Took another 7/10 - positive.  Went to OB this morning and got a negative urine test.  But he sent me down to the lab for a blood test, and told me he's "optimistic."  Hopefully I"ll hear early next week... but has this happened to anyone else?  I've done a little googling, and it seems like it may be more common than I thought.

Anyone else?

    Sometimes the tests used by doctors are not as sensitive as the FRER. however, you took the doctors test almost a week after the first positive FRER and so any test really should be positive by then. So, it could be either the doctor's test sucks or you had a chemical ptegnancy. I hope it's the former.

    March 2016 BFP#5, due November 2016.

    Thanks, all! :)  I'll update when I know either way.

    @TheBorg7of9 - I'm totally aware it could be chemical - I, too, am really hoping it's not.
