Boredom

Anyone else soooo bored lately? I'm 39+2 weeks. I had my huge nesting urge last week and I'm set now. Work is beyond boring- as clients are being removed from my caseload when they leave the program, the new ones coming in are being assigned to the other staff since I'll be on leave soon. I have half the amount of clients they do and have even started taken on some of their work just to keep busy. I almost called out today but had a few meetings that I didn't want to drop on my other coworkers, when I felt just fine to come in. Of course, everything I planned to do got cancelled today and I was bored for like 6 of the 8 hours of work. My husband and I had two wonderful weekends in a row of going out with friends and laying around with Netflix because I know that we won't be able to do that much longer, but now I'm over it. Husband is home sick and just wants to lounge this weekend. I'm literally feel like everything in life is so boring these days!!!!!! I have nothing left to do but go into labor- it's so annoying that I have no control over that haha. Please tell me I'm not the only one bored!!

Nope! You are not alone girl, just as bored over here...I spend my days waiting to go into labor.
I have all of my essentials, nursery is done, house is cleaned, bags are packed, & I'm not even working...bored is an understatement! Who knew we would actually wish, hope, & pray for pain?! lol...goodness I hope it's soon too!

I'm feeling incredibly bored, restless, and exhausted at the same time! I need to get out and get some fresh air but I have no energy.

I'm so bored...can't eat anything yummy because of GD AND I'm on modified bed rest! Talk about bored out of my mind!

In the the same boat as well ladies. Have had a total of 7 weeks ML and I am down to the last 2. Trying to enjoy time before baby but easier said than done when you feel like crap with no energy, no interest to do anything much and little money! Every twinge gets my hopes up and then I am left feeling annoyed and frustrated..wanting to meet my baby and get my body back to feeling vaguely normal again!! X

Same I-) I literally sleep eat and wait around for baby. Been off work for 9 weeks now and already have everything done. So bored!

Feeling the same as you! I just had my last day at work. I've got a couple little nesting projects but can't get them done without help from hubs. We're both lazy this weekend. Tried to Netflix it up but I get so emotional over what I watch haha!

Feeling the same. I'm down to my last 4 clients out of 24. If i wasnt working id be going crazy! Just feeling bored with work and home life. Ready for something to happen. I found myself wanting a rain storm last night because I was so bored with the hot sunny weather.

Your post sounds just like my life right now too except I'm 38+2 weeks. Work has done the same with my clients and I just feel like I need a busier schedule. I know I should appreciate the down time right now, but it's just that bored feeling I get all day long. I'm doing the most random things to do with my time and I'm running out of things to do (or so I feel). I know we're almost there, but that doesn't take the boredom away. I hope your LO comes soon!
