40+ weeks

I am finding that most mothers have their babies before their due date or on their due dates. And I've also noticed that people who have their 1st babies may go a few days past their due date but with their next babies it's usually before.

Why do I feel like I am the only one that goes past their due date EVERYTIME!

My 1st DS was due 5/21, I was induced on 5/30
My 2nd DS was due 2/6, had him naturally on 2/15
My DD was due 2/13, I was induced on 2/21

Anyone else have multiple babies that don't want to leave the womb. I'm hoping to have this baby naturally and not have to be induced!

I have a few friends who have been induced two or three times because they always go overdue.

Everyone is different. In my first Bmb so many were ftm's and we all had or babies over a span of 4 months- yes 4! Some went 3 months early and some went 2+ weeks late.

Just depends on your body.

Dd was my first and I went 2 days late without being induced.

As a mom of preemies, I would have given anything to not have a problem staying pregnant. Despite the fact that my body was measuring 2.5 months overdue, every day pregnant was a milestone.

With that being said, I'll be happy to be pregnant for as long as this baby is comfy in there. I found a lot of guilt complaining about the aches and pains knowing that there were SO many people out there who would kill to be in my shoes.

Also, my girls were a month early...luckily we avoided any NICU time.

DS1 was 11 days "late", induced due to concerns with u/s findings

DS2 was 8 days "late," came w/o induction

I am much more mentally prepared this time to carry this baby to 41+ weeks. In my second pregnancy, I kept thinking it was probably a fluke. This time I'm going to do better remember that it likely just the way my body does it!

DD was due 9/17 small water leak and induced 9/25 (7lbs. 14oz). DS was due 5/26 induced 6/2 (8lbs 7oz). DS2 was due 3/27 induced 3/29 (8lbs 2oz). And DS3 was due 2/7 induced 2/14 (8lbs 5oz). My body doesn't kick into labor until the meds are going, but the inductions are easy for me. I always hope that it'll happen by itself, but my babies love to make me wait. Haha.

My first pregnancy I went 4 days past my due date and was induced a week early with my second. I actually don't know very many women who have had their babies before they're due dates. Most of my friends or Facebook friends have always been past their due dates.

With 7 babies, I never had one before my due date. My first 2 were on their due date, the rest were all late. My last one was almost 3 weeks late. I have gotten to the point that I don't start washing baby clothes until my due date. I also plan 1 super fun activity or treat for every day that I am overdue, like going out to lunch with a friend or a bookstore trip to buy a book or a pedicure, so I have something to look forward to. I also take perverse pleasure at being out and about and having people ask when I am due, and giving them a date 2 weeks past. The look of pure horror on their face is priceless and good for a chuckle. You'd thing they were certain I was going to drop that baby right there in front of them.
