When does sex stop hurting?

STMs when does sex stop hurting? It's been probably 10 times, almost 8 weeks pp and lots of lube.

With my first it hurt for almost a year. I have no idea what happened but I was terrified of it hurting forever. I don't think that's normal. With my second just the first few times and with this one it never hurt, but I didn't tear or anything.

I think BC was part of the problem the first time around.

Hopefully it will feel normal soon.

I'm just amazed you've had sex 10 times in 2 weeks with a newborn and with it hurting! I'm too tired for anything

I just got cleared by my doctor this week so DH wants to give it a go tonight and I am so scared, especially now after reading this post haha

yes. tons of lube. when you think you've used enough, double the amount.

It's uncomfortable for me, and I had a c-section! I can't imagine what it would feel like if I had a vaginal delivery! Kudos to all of you!

Is it really that bad!? My DH gets home from the Middle East in about a month (he's in the army) and I'm dying to do it.. But now I'm sort of terrified

I had a c section and I had no pain or problems having sex again at 2 weeks pp. after my first baby I had a vaginal birth and episiotomy and hurt for a long time after

It just depends on the person. I have had sex twice ( 8 weeks PP) and it was not bad. I also have a pretty easy labor. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I also used lots of lube.

Idk why but it hurts less for me when DH uses a condom. And lube

We've done it 4 times since I was cleared (2 weeks ago) and the last time it didn't hurt at all! Use lube and it should get better

Don't judge but we got a little drunk lol I was so nervous and it loosened me up and it wasn't so bad. Our second time I was sober and it only hurt a little.

I've tried 3 times now. 8 weeks pp, and it hurts in the beginning then gets a little better as we go. We have lots of lube, and use a condom (at least until the mirena is in)? Take it slow at the beginning is all I can say that has worked for me. Plus relax! I'm sure stressing over it is making it worse.

My first 2 times were excruciating! The third was better bc i dealt with the initial pain as he was entering then i had him be still until the pain subsided about 30-60 seconds later. Then he moved VERY SLOW until i had no pain. Its been amazing since then!!
