  • @runswithscissors86 I give you props for still being able to work lol I stopped working since the last week of April!
That would be epic! If your water breaks at work lol,
  • Been at the hospital since midnight waiting for this baby to come out. Haven't had any super strong contractions yet and am still waiting for the pitocin. I have to say. I'm not liking being hooked up to all these cords its kinda annoying so I just want him to come fast so I can take all this stuff off. Just waiting onnsome breakfast so I have energy for the long day. Wish me luck!

That is the worst feeling. I hope everything goes smoothly for you and that the hospital food is mildly appetizing. So jealous of your soon arrival.

Resting on the couch while our DD is napping, taking her to the pool later. Trying to get as much fun time in with her as I can before baby comes on Friday. I'm feeling ok, just lots of low pressure. I'm 38.3 and no contractions, DD was born at 37.6 so I was hopeful this little one would come early but nothing so far.

Starting to get annoyed with all the "how are you feeling/she's still in there huh?" type questions. I know people mean well but I'm just over it.

So tired of work too, I only have 3.5 more days (leaving Thursday at noon since I have to be at the hospital at 4pm) but it's going to take everything in me to finish those last days.

Ready to meet our little girl!!!
  • Took a trip out to Berkeley today. Waiting in a tattoo shop cuz my DH is getting a consult done. Then it's off to some good eats.... Mmm yummy! I am splurging today.

Continuation: (I already posted on here but...)

So we went to a buffet to honor my late grandpa. He loved buffets so it was a really quirky way to just celebrate his life on his birthday.

My husband was really sweet and asked me questions about him to let me reminisce.

I started crying. In the middle of a buffet restaurant. I have cried a handful of times in this pregnancy. Hormones just got the best of me haha.

I think that's so super sweet to honor him in that way and that your husband asked you questions! I put my grandfather to rest just days before my positive pregnancy test and it was very difficult to have to compartmentalize the grief to the fullest in order to make it through my first trimester. All of it was really pretty bittersweet though; just seeing the cycle of life lost and life gained. My grandfather was one of the greatest gifts in this lifetime and I can't wait to honor him in a similar way without crying my eyes out! We always had IHOP dates together and I haven't been able to go in one since but hopefully soon. Big hugs to you @babydoll1008 !

Also, I currently LOVE pink lemonade and spending time with DH but HATE snoring!
  • Currently sitting on the couch... Hubby and stepdaughter went to Medieval Times (I was supposed to go, but have been feeling blah all day- mild cramping and diarrhea, sorry TMI)... I go to the hospital tomorrow to start the induction process at 5. I'm excited, but super nervous! I have horrible anxiety, but haven't been taking my anxiety meds the whole pregnancy, I've been really good so far, but the anxiety has definitely kicked into overdrive for tomorrow!
  • I can't believe some of you guys are still working! My last day was June 6th, and these 100+ degree days we've had in North Florida make it impossible to do anything other than sleep, swim, or stay inside!
