This morning I am 99% positive I lost my mucus plug at 36 weeks 4 days. Is labor eminent? Or am I getting my hopes up? At my appointment last week I was 60% effaced and baby girl weighed in at 5lbs 12oz.
Losing your mucus plug does not mean anything. It can regenerate. There are tons of posts on this if you do a search of the board you will see all of the replies.

Please don't be hopeful until you are at least 38 weeks along. Little baby needs all the time they can get. Also, I've been losing bits of mine for the past 6 to 10 weeks. It really means absolutely nothing. Call your doctor though if it comes out with blood and never feel bad for disturbing your doctor's office with your calls. Ever. That's what they're there for.
I am a FTM and high risk with high BP and have had PUPPP for the past month. I had already spoken with my doctor this morning but was looking for other people's experiences. My doctors are talking about inducing and /or c section so if little girl is ready to come out on her own I would prefer for her to make her debut naturally. Please don't pass judgement, was just curious of what other people went through.
There are already SO many posts on this topic @kate1524 if you were really curious it would have been helpful for you to SEARCH the other 100 posts on this very thing. Passing judgement at the lack of searching, not your eagerness to deliver early probably. To each their own about Wanting to delivering early.
And people wonder why this forum is considered so negative. Everyone always jumps down throats when there are innocent questions thrown out. Who cares of its been posted about before. If you don't want to discuss the topic again, keep scrolling. @kate1524, I can understand your excitement to meet your little baby. Hope all goes well and he/she is healthy and you have a great delivery!

Maybe because the TOU say to search before posting.

Well I hope you're available to answer all upcoming one hundred posts about mucus plugs, dilation, effacement, and "are these contractions?!" ;;)
I'm a FTM, but it's my understanding that labor is pretty much never eminent. If you think your labor might be eminent, you're definitely getting your hopes up.
Eminent: high in station, rank, or repute; prominent; distinguished. Imminent: likely to occur at any moment; impending.

I don't want to keep scrolling. I want to ask why they haven't searched the topic. And plus also, you have the OP literally no advice.
