Friday 7/10 Randoms

Im in bed right now shocked that I have to go to work. I was really hoping to have been in labor the last 2 days ha ha. Only bc I don't work wed or thurs. Now I have to get up and make myself look pretty so I look credible telling people how they should wear their hair.

I lost some blob this morning. I just stared at it and thought," you cruel cruel bastard. You mean nothing!" Then I realized how strange it is to be so interested in what we wipe off ourselves.

Hope everyone's Friday is great and can't wait to hear what is going down.

    Every time I go to the loo and check the tissue paper and always feel dissapointed when I see nothing. Only 38 weeks today but hoping and wishing for something to happen lol oh the joys x

    So this was all the good stuff, forgot to mention... I'm still working and hating every minute of it. I was doing fine with it until yesterday and now everyone and everything at work is annoying me. I just got a rush project they want me to handle and I'm annoyed because I could be out any day now and of not, Thursday is definitely my last day and I really don't need the stress of this project right now. Ugh, so annoyed with my boss.

    This is our first baby and I honestly think he is really nervous! He hasn't asked many questions lately and just keeps saying he's sorry that I am in pain everyday. When I told him the induction is Wednesday he kinda panicked!! But he tries to hide it and remain calm to not get me worked up I think.
    They shouldn't be the ones worrying! We have to go through all the pain and work lol

    Just left the midwifery and our baby's head is fully descended in my pelvis. It sure feels like it. I feel like I have to invent new angles of tilting my pelvis just to pee properly. Come on now dude, come on out!

    I have been losing pieces of my plug all week and just assumed that I would just lose it bit by bit. Was not expecting to stand up from the toilet and see a big ol blob in the toilet....for a good 3-5 seconds I seriously thought there was a spider (half the size of my palm) in the bottom of the toilet....then my brain actually turned on and I realized what it was.....now come on baby!!

    I really would like to have him any day except tomorrow because BOTH of his grandpa's birthdays are tomorrow....but knowing him, he will be born on the one day I didn't want!! Haha- but I'll take what I can get at this point!

    @babydoll1008 I'm sitting in the waiting room at the dr and literally had to contain myself from laughing. That is definitely how it feels.

    Came down the shore for the day, was supposed to spend it with 4 of my nieces and nephews but apparently they weren't behaving so my brother didn't let them come down. So it's just me and my mom today, prepping for a small party tomorrow. This is my last hurrah with the family before I hole up in my house and wait for baby to arrive. 38+1 today and no signs anything is happening.

    Oh and I am at the stage where everything I do is awkward and uncomfortable and everything everyone else does annoys the hell out of me.

    My post seemed to get cut off the first time..

    Pregnancy wise, everything is the same. Me and baby girl are just chilling.. Waiting.

    On the other hand, it's my husband's birthday! I've been stressing out over this for the past couple of weeks since I have been out of work and haven't received any disability funds as of yet but I have finally managed to pull together some money to get him a gift. It's gonna be a few days late but so glad I was able to get him a little something. My hubby LOVES to cook and bake so I got him a countertop bookshelf for the kitchen and a cookbook by his favorite chef Lidia Bastianich. I cannot wait to see his face! And to taste the food! Hehehe :P

    All I do is sleep and eat... Dont have the energy for much else. I almost wish I had some BH or loss of plug but I am nearly 39 wks and my cervix is closed. Nothing is happening except being tired and having to go the bathroom all the time. I wonder why I bother checking everytime I go, there is never anything there.

    Just finished a long morning at the dr, everything looks good, 40+2, baby is approx 8lb3oz. Scheduled induction for 4:30am Wednesday if she doesn't come before then. Eek! I'll for sure be a mommy in like 5 days!

    I had a little shopping spree for this baby earlier today. This is our 2nd boy, so we don't need much, but I got several things we were needing & had fun getting to spend my MIL's money ;) I also scored a few free photo sessions with a photographer in town (she's building her portfolio & wanted to capture a homebirth--score!). This evening she is going to take maternity pics. I'm 37 weeks and swollen so not sure how attractive they'll be. Also tomorrow is me & my hubs' 6th anniversary and we are terrible at planning things in advance, so we are bugging everyone we know to see of they'd babysit our toddler so we can have one last date before baby gets here. That about sums it up! Hope yall have a good weekend :)

    Went to the Dr. this morning & am on 1/2 cm dialated :-q
    I am almost 38 weeks and was hoping for a little more than that but oh well.
    I go back next week for another growth ultrasound and depending on how big he is measuring, I will be offered a C-section.
    So now i cant stop weighing the options and thinking about it all.
    My carpal tunnel is getting worse and my poor feet hurt so bad by the end of the work day that I almost want to get it over with, but I also want to let this LO come when he's ready.

    Today is my due date! I surprisingly feel awesome, I've been lucky with a very easy pregnancy. My best friend is bringing over some spicy Mexican food to try to get things moving..I'm scheduled for induction on Tuesday! Hoping he decides to come before that!

    40+2 and getting impatient! I know most FTM go over their EDD but I've been reading into every little twinge! Feeling a little crampy today and really really hoping that means something is starting!

    On another note, I made lemon scones this morning and they are amazing. I'll probably eat them all by tonight! So much carbs in my belly!! Yummmmmm.

    Lol at these post I can relate. Every time I pee I have to look before I flush lol I have never been so interested to see what's coming out of me lol... @babydoll1008 that conversation with your mom is too hilarious I pictured it in my head and now can't stop laughing... :))

    Well I had sex with my husband last night and had some crazy pain I never felt before I thought 'this is it!!!" but hear i am with Bh contractions and that's about it...

    38 weeks today and have felt maybe a handful of cramps. Nothing even resembling anything regular, just awkward and uncomfortable. And I work tonight and tomorrow, 12 hr night shifts. Ugh. Just counted- I have 8 total shifts to work before my due date. I do have some fun things planned though- having family dinner on Sunday (my sis in law is due soon too, it's or pre baby dinner haha) and going to a comedy club next Thursday (here's to laughing so hard my water breaks!). Been nesting off and on, trying to stay busy and distracted so time goes faster.

    37+4 today and for about 2hrs straight I was getting these stabbing pains down there...like baby was trying to put a knife through my cervix trying to get out, would double me over for about 5secs. I know doc said he's way down there, but goodness! I thought he was ready come come on out.
    Plus had a lingering headache for the last 24hrs :(
    On a positive note, I had enough energy to clean the first floor of the house today...& could still reach my toes to paint them #winning haha ;)

    I'm 40 weeks and 4 days and trying to remain positive. Induction process will begin Tuesday afternoon but I'm really hoping I have him naturally before then. I've never wished and prayed for pain but I have been over the last several days. Come on contractions!
