Spotting and 1st ultrasound. Need support!

I have had very light spotting for the last 3 days.
We were worried so went to our ultrasound early (6weeks) the Dr said I was only around 4.5 to 5 weeks and we could only see the gestational sack with nothing inside(which can be normal that early on and she said all looked healthy) Have another scan on the 20th. Has anyone experienced this? Am a little worried Bub isn't growing but trying to stay positive

I had the exact same thing happen to me about two weeks ago. I have another appointment tomorrow and I'm hoping to see a healthy baby in there! My symptoms did kick up about a week after the initial ultrasound, so we will see.

I am between 6-7 weeks also had an US last week that only showed gestational sac, I was sent for BHCG 48 hours apart to be sure the pregnancy was progressing and the numbers looked good, almost doubled, I also have had spotting and had my progesterone level checked which was low so I was started on progesterone supplements. My next US is scheduled for next week, praying we see our baby and her/his heartbeat. I feel better having had these tests. Just my experience. Best wishes to you and your baby!

I had a similar experience. A little light spotting early on and a few early ultrasounds. At 5 weeks, doctor saw a sac with nothing inside, at 6 weeks, a gestational sac and a yolk sac, then at 7 weeks, we could see the heartbeat. Fingers crossed that things go well for you!

My first scan I was supposed to be 7 weeks but the ultrasound determined in was 6 weeks instead and it was only a yolk sac as well. Had another ultrasound at 8 weeks and saw baby and hb was 170bpm. Fx everything is okay for you and baby.

This is so comforting!
I went in at 6 weeks and they only saw a sac & yolk, no baby. I've been praying so hard that we'll see the baby when I go in next week but I'm so nervous I can hardly wait. Anyways I'm so glad I read above that someone else only saw the sac and yolk at 6 weeks. I'm hoping the same for me! Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm in a very similar situation. I had an ultrasound last week at 5+5 and only saw gestational sac. Had red bleeding yesterday and had hcg drawn. Almost doubled since last draw (48 hours earlier). Hoping for a good ultrasound on the 20th also. Glad to hear so many positive outcomes. It's hard to keep hope in times like these.

Hey, I'm 7 weeks and 5 days and just last week I had some light brown spotting, I was concerned cause I recently had a miscarriage so I went in to check with the doctor and I did mention I've had been having intercourse & most likely it's because of that, she did an ultrasound just in case and I got to see my tiny baby:)

I had my ultrasound today at 8+1. Like I mentioned before, I went in a few weeks ago and nothing but the gestational sac. I was 5+5 and the doctor was pretty sure I was only 4 weeks, which I knew wasn't possible. Well today I measured at exactly 8 weeks! We heard the heartbeat and everything looks great, so try not to let it stress you out too much!

I had a tiny amount of red blood a couple of days ago and a teeny account of brown yesterday. Called the nurse line when it happened and they said to go and see a doctor right away so dragged poor husband out of work and spent most of the afternoon traipsing around for a doctor and he just sent me home. Had the us today and all looked good. I think it's good to listen to your own doc as everyone is different but she said if bleeding is bad it keeps going and gets worse, which I found reassuring.

I had early spotting but they just did a blood draw. Since it was so early on they knew the truth ultrasound wouldn't show much and u guess didn't want to bother. My 8 week ultrasound showed a perfectly on track baby and heartbeat. Fx for good results for you!
