Nausea WORSE at 12 weeks?

Hi all,

Just wondering if this has happened/is happening for anyone else:

My mild symptoms of cramping and nausea seemed to subside around 9 weeks and I figured I was on the path to freedom. But over the last couple of days, it's been back in full force! I thought that symptoms were supposed to get better over time... anyone else experiencing this?

Symptoms come and go for lots of people. Some people are unfortunately sick their entire pregnancy.

Edit: Not saying you will be, but every pregnancy is different.

My nausea and vomiting seriously escalated just before my 12 week mark. I'm 14 weeks today and it's just gotten increasingly worse.

Almost 15 weeks here and it's been getting worse since week 11. I have noticed mine is because of an empty stomach rather than being triggered by my intake. If I go too long without eating (ie; over night) I wake up sicker than a dog. So, light consistent snacking has helped me a lot, but I still have yet to master a full nights sleep without having to snack lol

My nausea has come and gone since week 4 (usually a few bad days and then a good day, then repeat), and I thought had peaked in intensity around weeks 7 or 8. Then I had a few really awful days again this week (week 12). I'm hoping it's just the last blast or a particularly uncomfortable growth spurt since my abs and back are sore as well. Might also just be that this week was stressful at work.

I feel so much better after a good night's sleep last night so I'm hoping today is a good day. Snacking often helps me a lot as well. Can't wait for second trimester!

I am 13weeks 5 Days and mine has taken a drastic turn for the worse the last two days. So bad I think I might have the stomach bug! Everything is making me sick. Even water!! Hope to see a turn around real soon!

I'm 13 weeks and not vomiting, but I definitely noticed it getting worse around 11 weeks. Ugh! Just when I thought I was in the clear lol I just constantly feel sick to my stomach. Thankfully I'm a teacher, and I'm on summer break... I hope it goes away before I have to go back and chase little kindergartners around all day!

So i'm 15 weeks exactly today. I was nauseous all the way through up until 12 weeks when actual vomiting started. In the past 3 weeks though ive noticed im fine in the week, a little tired (i commute 4 hrs a day for work) but otherwise okay. Come the weekend, up it comes. Never food just acid . I just dont get why its only weekends. I just want to be able to enjoy my weekends esp as im already getting my bump on and the weather is nice.

This has been the worst week for me too (I'll be at 12w on Monday). In previous weeks I've been lightly nauseous all day. But this past Tuesday I felt horrible. I even took a sick day. Don't know if it's just because I've been more sensitive to smells or what. Ginger ale and just making sure the house smells clean seemed to help. Also drinking way more water than I was, has helped too. I feel much better today.

Mine has been bad since 9weeks, I have good and bad days;( but just like last pregnancy I puke so hard I pee myself and have to take a billion showers a day. Anyone else have this problem ?

I was soooo looking forward to week 12 because it's supposed to mean less sickness, and mines gotten worse. Up until now I hadn't been taking anything for it, but being sick at work is almost unbearable so now I'm taking a B6 vitamin in the morning and evening. It's not a cure-all but seems to take the edge off. I'll take what I can get.

Yep, MS ramped up mid week 11 and at almost week 13 is terrible. WTH? I just feel so weak.

From about 6-11 weeks I was miserable. Constantly nauseous and throwing up. Then it seemed to let up a little. 15 weeks yesterday and it's back with vengeance! Just trying to get through the rest of the work day so I can go home and lay down. I'm exhausted!
