Expecting MoDi twins!! 12w5d

Hi ladies! I'm new here. I had my first appt/US June 24th and found out we are having MoMo TWINS!!! Such a complete shock and surprise. Never in a million years did I think I'd have twins! At my 2nd appt with MFM I found out the twins were actually MoDi after they found a very thin membrane between them. I have 2 more appts. this month and was told I'd be watched like a hawk lol! My kids (8,7 & 6) are so excited!

Just wanted to say hi and see if there are other MoDi mommies out there due in Jan/Dec

    Congrats!! I am fairly certain mine are di/di but will confirm at the next ultrasound that there are two placentas.  Do you have an ultrasound pic of your babes? I am curious to see any differences.

    Welcome! I am still learning all the twin lingo. I knew the twins were in separate sacs but at today's u/s we found out they are also in separate placentas. So which does that make them?
    Btw I am 12w 5d.
    1st child DOB 9/3/02

    SO and I met 6/25/06

    Married 9/2/12

    Due date 1/16/16 with our twins!

    Congrats mama!! Mine are di/di. We have a little group within this group for multiples and would love for you to join us. Every few days someone (mainly @keshakdavis ;)) posts a 'multiples check-in thread' so that we can stay active & supportive.

    Congrats!! I'm 14 weeks with di/di twins and my other children are 5, 3, and 2. Huge shock for us, expecting to have 4 children total and then finding out its going to be 5!

    Congratulations!!! I'm 13 weeks 4 days with mo/di twins!!! You never expect your going to hear the words "you're having twins" when you find out your pregnant!! I'm due January 14 but will have these babies in December!

    Mo/di here due jan 25th! I have a 19 month old daughter and am completely terrified due to the increases risks of a shared placenta, but am reassured by the fact that I'm being monitored so closely.
