My son will be 9 weeks on Monday, the first few weeks he loved being in his rock n play and bassinet and being held! The past few weeks though he has gotten to where he cries/screams every time you put him down! He will fall asleep for a nap with me and when I put him down he wakes up crying and won't stop until he's picked up. We've also tried putting him down while he's drowsy but still awake and he does the same thing! After a feeing you can put him down for 5-10 minutes and he'll be happy but after that he starts crying! I've tried giving a pacifier, patting him, putting my hand on him, talking to him, etc and nothing calms him except picking him up! Any suggestions?? Anyone else dealing with this?? Not that I mind holding him, I know he will be only be little for so long so I'm soaking up every minute of it, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong
Re: Baby cries everytime he is put down!
He was just fussin in his swing which usually gives me at least 5 minutes but not today. I picked him up and he's out like a light. I'm just resolved to hold him got now and hope things are better in a couple days. He's 8 weeks, born 2 weeks early so I'm considering a lot of it could be 6 week growth spurt.
I'm trying to find something I can do from home and have no idea where to start looking, that's why I'm asking!
